PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet system image forming method and an image forming device, drying ink efficiently while restraining the deterioration of the quality of an image. SOLUTION: In the ink jet system image forming method, forming the image by forming dots employing slow dry ink and quick dry ink, the ambient temperature of a part, on which the image is formed, is detected upon forming the image and the dot density in a predetermined area is recognized based on the data of the image (step S3). Then, a treatment for forming the dot is selected based on the detected ambient temperature and the recognized dot density (step S4). Under a condition that the ink is readily dried, the dot is formed by the slow dry ink (step S7). Under a condition that the ink is hardly dried, the slow dry ink and the quick dry ink are employed properly to from the dot (step S7, steps S12-S14). |
