PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user authentication system applicable to various systems without necessity to prepare a dedicated reader for every terminal or to manage a password or physical medium for every system and low in the possibility of illegal utilization. SOLUTION: User side communication equipment 11 having a peculiar ID storage part 11a for storing a peculiar ID difficult to rewrite is prepared, system side communication equipment 13-15 are located between a prescribed network 12 and each of service systems 4-6 and lists 4a-6a of peculiar ID are stored in the service systems 4-6. When utilizing the service system 4, for example, from a terminal 2, a user 1 transmits the peculiar ID from the user side communication equipment 11 through the prescribed network 12 to the system side communication equipment 13. In the service system 4, it is decided whether the peculiar ID dispatched from the system side communication equipment 13 is on the list 4a or not, and when the peculiar ID is thereon, a service is provided to this terminal 2. |
