The multiplicator-type fishing reel has a frame (1) in which a shaft (4) is rotatably located. A component (9,13) for braking the shaft and a line spool (5) are also provided. A crank via a drive mechanism (18,19,21) rotates the line spool for re-winding a part of a line which has been released from the line spool. - The line spool is rotatably located on the shaft. A free nave (22) is so arranged between the line spool and the shaft that it permits rotation of the spool relatively to the shaft in the inward cranking direction but prevents rotation of the line spool relatively to the shaft in the opposite direction. |
