<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method, for the distribution of a wetting degree, in which the distribution can be measured in a short time and with good accuracy. SOLUTION: A sensor part 1 in which an optical fiber and a heater are complexed is buried inside soil at the dike, the flood plain or the like of a river. A heat generation control circuit is connected to the heater. A heating/ stop cycle is given. The optical fiber is connected to an optical-fiber temperature-distribution measuring apparatus. The distribution of a temperature inside the soil along the optical fiber is measured. Temperature-distribution measured data in a certain cycle and temperature-distribution measured data in a cycle prior to the cycle are computed. Thereby, the distribution of a wetting degree inside the soil along the sensor part 1 is found.</p> |
