<p>PURPOSE:To reduce intake air resistance due to a valve shaft by providing a plurality of independent intake passages in each cylinder, providing a shutter valve in any of the passages, and offsetting an opening part on a surge tank connecting member of the independent intake passage in a direction orthogonal to a direction of arranging the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In an air intake device wherein a plurality of independent intake passages 21, 22; 24, 25 provided in each cylinder are opened on surge tank connecting members 17, 18 extended toward a direction of arranging the cylinder, and also a surge tank is connected to the surge tank connecting members 17, 18, opening parts 21a, 22a; 24a, 25a on the surge tank connecting members 17, 18 of a plurality of the independent intake passages 21, 22; 24, 25 are formed, in each cylinder, offset in a direction orthogonal to a direction of arranging the cylinder. Of the opening parts 21a, 22a; 24a, 25a of each independent intake passage 21, 22; 24, 25, in the opening parts 21a, 24a positioned in any one side of the offset direction, a shutter valve 30 is mounted through a valve shaft 31 supported in a direction of arranging the cylinder.</p> |
