PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge for preventing a decrease of printing quality or printing fault by deviating fine bubble dispersed stably in ink by porous material such as foam material to an atmosphere communicating hole side. SOLUTION: An ink supply hole 4b of the ink cartridge 2 is formed at an outside, an atmosphere communicating hole 4c is formed at an inside, a rotary base 24 is rotated to give an accelerating motion by a centrifugal force to the cartridge 2, and the air (bubble) in a porous material 4f is deviated to the hole 4c. In this cartridge 2, most ink is drained from an ink supply hole 4b to an ink jet recording head side, and then the bubble is arrived at the hole 4b. Accordingly, suction of the bubble to the head side does not occur, in spite of sufficient ink is retained in the cartridge 2 and a decrease of printing quality or printing fault is prevented. |
