PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which dies not update a display position and does not display the position when an error of the position calculated by using a noncontact inertial navigation sensor has become large. SOLUTION: If such a state that acceleration and an angular speed obtained by the noncontact inertial navigation sensor 12 are not corrected by a sensor correcting means 14 since neither acceleration nor an absolute azimuth is obtained by an absolute position and absolute speed detecting means 11 is obtained and a moving body does not moves, lasts for a certain prescribed time or longer, a display position update switching means 16 steps updating the presence position (display position) of the moving body, so that a wrong presence position is not displayed to a user. Further, a position update state- notifying means 19 informs the user through a display means 15 that the present position of the moving body is not updated. |
