The mechanism to move heavy counterweights (1), e.g. at movable barriers, traffic signs and the like, has a moving chassis (3) with at least one rotating roller (2). An operating lever (5) is mounted to at least one axis at a swing lever (4) of the chassis between a rest position when swung in, and a moving setting against a limit stop. The assembly has an offset center of gravity (a) which pivots around an axis (6) at the counterweight. In the moving position, the counterweight has a limit stop (8) for the operating lever or the swing lever. |
