PURPOSE: Provided is a shaped thermoplastic synthetic fiber which has a large-dimensioned specific surface area with excellent ultraviolet interception capacity, and a shaped section with a fibrous repellent characteristic and a high speed absorbing and drying capacity. CONSTITUTION: With the shaped thermoplastic synthetic fiber, the sectional shape of the fiber is a crisscross with two symmetrical long and short axes(10,20), and the ratio of the long axial length(B) to the short axial length(A) is 1.1-3.0. The ratio of the short axial length to the thickness(C) at the middle from the sectional center to the long axial end is 1.4-5.0, and the ratio of the long axial length to the thickness(D) at the middle from the sectional center to the short axial end is 1.5-7.0. The ratio of the short axial thickness to the long axial thickness is 0.25-4.0. |
