DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING POSITION OF SEAT IN VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A position adjusting device of a seat for a vehicle is provided to control the position of the seat accurately regardless of travel speed, and to prevent noise and energy loss by moving the seat back and forth with pulling or pushing. CONSTITUTION: A position adjusting device of a seat is composed of stators(110) arranged symmetrically in the lower part of the seat in a vehicle to generate thrust; plural movers(120) connecting the stator and the seat and moving lengthwise along the stator without contact; and a control unit(200) electrically connected to the stator to control linear motion. A through hole(110a) is formed longitudinally at the side of the stator, and fitting holes are formed in the movers. The mover is combined with a guide part(110b) placed in the upper part of the through hole through the fitting hole. Noise and wear are prevented with reciprocating the movers without contact along the stators.
