PURPOSE: A portable phone is provided to supply an announcement to the third party when the third party requests to make a call while the line of the portable phone is busy, and to inform the third party of a user's state, thereby preventing the third party from retransmitting the call. CONSTITUTION: A controller(200) supplies a screen or a sound informing a user that a call is received from the third party while the line is busy, and supplies an announcement to the third party. A keypad(210) consists of a specific button, functional buttons, and general buttons. The specific button is used to transmit the announcement. A memory(230) stores a program and data on the announcement. With the program, the user responds to a call request of the third party generated while the line is busy. A display(220) displays executed/result screens, supplies the screen informing the user of a busy state, and outputs call request contents of the third party. An audio converter(240) outputs an analog voice, converts the analog voice into digital data, and transmits the digital data to the controller(200). A wireless circuit(250) receives the announcement, converts the announcement into a wireless signal, and transmits the wireless signal to the third party.
