PURPOSE: A fountain device using in combination with compressed air and pressurized water and a control method thereof are provided to maximize synaesthetic elegance. CONSTITUTION: The fountain device using in combination with compressed air and pressurized water has a plurality of nozzle units(N1-Nn) positioned to be immersed in a water tank(4) with their tops exposed. The fountain device comprises: a water pump(6) and an air compressor(8) connected to each of the plurality of nozzle units(N1-Nn) by ducts(10,14a,14b,14c); a water control valve(16) located at the duct(10) between the plurality of nozzle units(N1-Nn) and the water pump(6); an air control valve(16) located at the duct(14a) between the nozzle units(N1-Nn) and the air compressor(8); a booster(18) positioned at the duct(14b) between the air compressor(8) and the air control valve(16); an air filter(20) positioned at the duct(14c) between the air compressor(8) and the booster(18); a computer unit(22) configured to electrically control the operation states of the air compressor(8), the water pump(6), the water control valve(12) and the air control valve(16); an auxiliary memory unit(24) connected electrically to the main control unit of the computer unit(22); and an audio unit(26) electrically connected to the computer unit(22).
