PURPOSE: A chlorophyll-containing beverage and a method for producing the same are provided to more effectively extract chlorophyll from silk yarn/silkworm powder, and to maintain freshness of the beverage for an extended period of time. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the chlorophyll-containing beverage includes: a chlorophyll extraction process(13) for adding clean water(11) to a silk yarn containing material(10) and dissolving the material(10) in ethanol(12); a silk yarn separation process(15) for separating silk yarn(14) from the extract; a solvent evaporation process(18) for evaporating the ethanol(12) from the filtered extract(16) from the silk yarn separation process(15); and an emulsification process(20) for dispersing the chlorophyll extract(17) in purified water(19).
