PURPOSE: A method and a system for interrupting a virus mail are provided to protect a receiver from virus infection by analyzing/separating/interrupting the mail including a virus through analysis of a body of the mail. CONSTITUTION: A header/body separator(310) separates a header and the body from the mail received from a mail server of a sender. A message/contents separator(320) separates a message and contents from the body. A detail content extractor(330) separates the content including a file name or a name item from the contents. A virus checker(340) searches and checks an executable extension character and a content-ID from a name definition of the content-type. A mail processor(360) permits the receiver to receive the mail classified as a normal mail, and interrupts or removes the mail classified as the mail infected with the virus. A virus vaccine program(a350) is offered from the outside.
