PURPOSE: Provided is a device for preventing the occlusion of a chute in a Modified Chemical Vapor Deposition(MCVD) apparatus by using an inner and an outer tube having different rotation speeds, which maintains the behavior of particles deposited on a quartz tube constantly to improve the quality and the yield of optical fibers. CONSTITUTION: The device for preventing the occlusion of a chute in an MCVD apparatus comprises: an outer tube(100) extended from a quartz tube(10) used as an optical fiber preform; an inner tube(200) inserted into the outer tube(100) for discharging gases introduced thereto; and a rotating member(130) for rotating the outer tube(10) and the inner tube(200) at different speeds each other.
