STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTING INFLOW OF WATER INTO THERMISTOR AND THERMOSTAT AT HOT BLAST OUTLET OF CLOTHES DRIER

PURPOSE: Inflow preventing structure of water into a thermistor and a thermostat at a hot blast outlet of a clothes drier is provided to prevent damage of parts from inflow of water or lowering of reliability by restricting water from flowing into the thermistor and the thermostat with a shield plate. CONSTITUTION: A clothes drier includes a drying drum(2) for putting clothes in; a heater installed in a hot blast supply passage connected to the drying drum to generate hot blast by heating air into the drying drum; a blower(11) installed in the hot blast discharge passage connected to the drying drum to discharge hot blast from the drying drum and composed of a housing(11a) and a blower fan; a thermistor(17) installed at the outlet of the blower housing to control the heater by detecting temperature of air discharged out of the drying drum; a thermostat(19) keeping constant temperature; and a shield plate(110) installed in the housing of the blower to restrict water from the drying drum from flowing into the thermistor or the thermostat.
