PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing bean curd using Houttuynia cordata powder, green tea powder and a brine solution is provided. The manufactured bean curd has the characteristic taste and flavor of herbal plants and bean curd as well as extra nutrition. CONSTITUTION: Soybeans are soaked in water for 2hr or more, ground and heated for 1 to 2hr at 200deg.C or more. Then, 80% by weight of the soybean extract is mixed with 10% by weight of Houttuynia cordata powder and 10% by weight of green tea powder. The mixture is added with a brine solution and pressed. |
