PURPOSE: A system for synchronizing the UPnP based network and a method for synchronizing the same are provided to secure the continuity of the work by automatically transmitting the information when the control point(CP) does not exist at the place to which the user moves by the minimum correction of the current standard. CONSTITUTION: A system for synchronizing the UPnP based network includes at least one media server(530), at least one media renderer(521) and at least one control point(510). The media renderer(521) transmits the multi cast command when it locates at a space different from the CP. The media renderer(521) performs the download from CP(510) to the CP agent(540) and performs the information exchange with the CP(510) through the CP agent(540).
