DEVICE FOR OPENING DIVISION WALL OF COKE OVEN

PURPOSE: A device for opening division wall of coke oven is provided to smoothly supply gas and air into combustion chamber of coke oven by opening the division wall promptly and safely when the division wall of the combustion chamber of the coke oven is closed. CONSTITUTION: The device for opening division wall of coke oven comprises a base member(10) movably installed on an upper part of coke oven combustion chamber(140); a vertical moving member(30) installed on the base member(10) so that the vertical moving member(30) is vertically moved by driving means(20) along a vertical stand(22) vertically installed; and a division wall opening means(50) which is connected and fixed to a lower part of rotation shaft(52) installed at the vertical moving member(30) so that the rotation shaft(52) is rotated by motor, and which is inserted into the combustion chamber(140) through lid(142) of the combustion chamber(140) to open gas and air division walls at a lower side of the combustion chamber(140) during movement of the vertical moving member(30) and driving of the rotation shaft(52).
