PURPOSE: A mower is provided to reduce the risk of a device failure occurred by rapid rotation of a knife and prevent the risk that a stone or the like hit on the knife is sputtered to the circumference. CONSTITUTION: The mower comprises: a motor; a rod; a controller; and a cutting portion. The cutting portion comprises: a housing(20) fixed to the rod; a crank plate(30) accommodated within the housing(20) and connected to a driving shaft of the rod by a power transmission unit to be rotatable upon receipt of a power; two cranks rotatably connected to the upper and lower surface of the crank plate(30) so as to have a center of rotation at an eccentric portion; two blades(50,50') rotatably connected to one end of the two cranks, disposed in a manner that a plurality of knifes are contact to each other in a serrated shape, and sliding in the direction opposite to each other by the two cranks connected to the crank plate(30) converting a rotary movement into a linear movement as the crank plate(30) rotates; and a support(60) engaged to the outer surface of the two blades(50,50') contacting each other along with the two blades(50,50') and fixed to the housing(30) to guide linear movement of the two blades(50,50').
