LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof are provided to improve image quality of the liquid crystal display and to prevent a common voltage or a pixel voltage from being distorted by the influence between lines while each gate line is driven. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(1) has a number of gate lines and data lines formed in a row and a column direction respectively and has a number of pixels having a switching device connected to the gate line and the data line on an area defined as a cross of the gate line and the data line. A gate driver(2) supplies a gate driving voltage to drive the switching device to the gate line. And a data driver(3) supplies a corresponding gray voltage to the data line according to an applied data signal. The gate driver(2) supplies the gate driving voltage to the gate line with at least one line interval.
