PURPOSE: A system for optimizing transmission diversity and a system therefor are provided to separately obtain long-term channel matrices of each path, and to use eigenvectors corresponding to maximum eigenvalues of each channel matrix as long-term weight vectors, thereby independently reflecting characteristics of each path. CONSTITUTION: An eigenvector feedback block(200) calculates each channel matrix for each multipath. The eigenvector feedback block(200) calculates eigenvalues for the channel matrices of each path. The eigenvector feedback block(200) feeds back eigenvectors only corresponding to maximum eigenvalues to eigenvectors for the channel matrices of each path among the calculated eigenvalues for the channel matrices of each path.
