PURPOSE: A method of generating a real sound source bell sound for a mobile communication terminal is provided to select a bell sound source, and to convert the selected sound source into a 16bit/44.1Mhz wave file, then to generate an approximately 900KB wave file, thereby maximumly securing sound quality of the sound source. CONSTITUTION: A system selects music or an advertisement or a film sound that is the same as a bell sound(ST1). The system converts the selected music or the sound into a wave file(ST2). The system converts the generated wave file into a 16bit mono sound again(ST3). The system converts the generated sound source into an MPEG3 file again(ST4). The system converts the generated sound source into a wave file again(ST5). The system converts the generated wave file into an MPEG3 file again(ST6). The system re-converts the file into an MPEG3 96kbps file(ST7). The system converts the file into a wave file again(ST8).
