PURPOSE: A chemical decontamination apparatus is provided to protect workers from being exposed to the radioactive radiation and allow for ease of decontamination. CONSTITUTION: A chemical decontamination apparatus comprises a decontamination tank(4) constituted by cylindrical steel frames and metal supports supporting the cylindrical steel frames; a plurality of process tanks(7) having a plurality of circulation pumps(5,5'), wherein the process tanks are connected through pipelines(6) in such a manner that the process tanks supply process water to the decontamination tank; a pure water tank(8) connected through the pipeline in such a manner that the pure water tank supplies pure water to the process tanks and the decontamination tank; an injection unit arranged in the decontamination tank in such a manner that the injection unit injects process water to a reactor coolant pump mounted unit arranged in the decontamination tank; and an ion exchange resin tank(9) for purifying the process water injected to the decontamination tank when the process water is discharged to the outside.
