PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an automatic shower head is provided to make it easier to use and save heating cost since water comes out when the shower head is pulled forward or water stops when the shower head is pushed backward. CONSTITUTION: An O-ring(3) or T-packing is fitted to the upper end of a hexagonal nut(2) coupling a shower head hose(6) to a drain pipe(1) of a bib. The hose(6) is fitted to an internal pipe(5) with many saw teeth(4) being fitted thereto. Next, a capsule(7) with a flange(8) is fitted to the exterior of the hose(6) so that the hose(6) cannot fall out. The hose(6) having a U-packing(12) or O-ring fitted between the flange(9) formed on the upper end of the internal pipe(5) and a ring type ridge(10) and the capsule(7) are put downward from above the hexagonal nut(2) so that the flange(8) cannot fall out by being stopped on a lower ridge(16) of the hexagonal nut(2). The U-packing(12) or O-ring is tightly contacted to an inner wall of the hexagonal nut(2) so that water does not leak out.
