System for information exchange between a vehicle (C1 - C7) and a management center within a geographical zone (1), situated around the management center and within which the vehicles are located. Each vehicle has a very short-range transceiver terminal, enabling transmission and receipt of requests relating to route planning. Signals are transmitted to the central terminals (B5 - B8) using the other vehicle terminals as relays.
