The machine consists of a spherical pot of clay, terra cotta or similar material with electrical heating resistances in its walls, fitted with a detachable inner container that spreads a pastry in liquid form over its heated inner surface when the post is rotated by a motor and a shaft incorporating a spiral spring. The inner container has outlets close to its top and is fitted inside the pot by a cover with an insulator that closes and seals the pot's opening. A tube that passes through the centre of the container releases any pressurized gases. Once the pastry case is cooked it can be filled with a food product that can be cooked or heated inside it, after which the upper half of the pot is opened on a hinge (12) to remove the read-to-eat product.
