A brazing sheet product comprises a core sheet (1), a clad layer (2) of aluminum alloy comprising 4-14 wt.% silicon and, on outer surface(s) of the clad layer, a diffusion layer (3) comprising nickel-tin alloy. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a method of manufacturing an aluminum brazing product comprising applying a metal layer comprising nickel or nickel alloy into outer surface(s) of aluminum substrate, applying a metal layer comprising tin or tin alloy into the outer surface(s) of nickel or nickel alloy layer and subjecting coated brazing product to diffusion annealing treatment by holding the plated brazing product at 100-500 degreesC for 1 second - 300 minutes to form on the outer surface of aluminum substrate a diffusion layer comprising nickel-tin alloy; and (b) an assembly of components joined by brazing, where the component(s) being a brazing sheet product or a product obtained by the above method.
