PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light deflector capable of obtaining higher definition recording images in principle without causing a signal detection time deviation of a laser luminous flux, that is a write position deviation, even when a laser light emitting unit such as a multi-beam light source unit is rotated and adjusted with an optical axis as the center. SOLUTION: A signal detection control part 1e is provided integrally with the multi-beam light source unit 1 and the control part of the signal detection control part 1e is made in a circular arcuate shape with the optical axis L as the center.
