PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stick an adhesive tape to a corrugated cardboard paper in the same line at the same time as the manufacture of the paper without lowering the line speed, and arrange a sticking start position also when a plurality of the adhesive tapes are to be stuck to a wide corrugated cardboard paper. SOLUTION: (1) A starting sheet to which the end of the adhesive tape is attached is held by a pair of a sucker and a supporting roll. (2) The corrugated cardboard paper which begins running is flattened by pressing it to a base by a row of plural pressure rolls arranged in the width direction of the corrugated cardboard paper. (3) A supporting set consisting of pairs of the suckers and supporting rolls are rapidly pressed toward the corrugated cardboard paper, then the vacuum suction of the starting sheet is stopped and the sticking of the adhesive tape is started by pressing the tape to the corrugated cardboard paper by the paired supporting rolls. (4) The sticking is continued by sequentially sticking the tapes to the corrugated cardboard paper with the help of the pressure rolls. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
