PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle for work of a low vehicle height and a short vehicle longitudinal length in a housing posture capable of lifting a work stand up to the required lifting height. SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 for high lift work has a working device 39 equipped with a swivel base 9 mounted on a sub frame 4, a boom 11 at least vertically elevatingly mounted on the swivel base 9, a parallel link mechanism 19 vertically swivelably mounted on the tip part of the boom 11, and a working stand 29 mounted on the tip part of the parallel link mechanism 19. The working device 39 lays down the boom 11 to the position to be approximately horizontal state from the front side to the rear side, and stores the parallel link mechanism 19 in the state of being rocked to the position extending approximately vertically downward. Since the side located at the rear side in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle for work extends in parallel to the rear end 4a of the sub-frame 4 and is stored so as to locate on the sub frame 4 in a plane view, the longitudinal length of the vehicle can be shorten comparing to the conventional one, and the vehicle height can be lowered to improve compactability of the vehicle.
