PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide armrests of a wheelchair with their positions adjustable according to the body type. SOLUTION: The base end part of an armrest body 21 for resting an elbow is pivoted to a bearing part 25 provided in an armrest base part 23 supported to a seat back frame 5a, so that the armrest body 21 can swing laterally, and a lock device restricting the swing position is attached to the bearing part. The left/right armrest bodies 21 can be adjusted their positions by independently laterally inward or outward swung respectively and the adjustment position is locked by a bolt 27 functioned as a lock device and a shaft. In this case, the armrest base part 23 is provided with an arm part 23a extending to the front and the front end part of the arm part is provided with the bearing part 25, thereby swinging using a position close to the elbow as a fulcrum.
