A part identification micro component transponder installation technique for drive and feed equipment such as cables, hydraulic pipes, actuators and conveyor belts has active and passive electronic components including transponders, contactless sensors and data loggers including GPS (Global Positioning System) location with wireless links to external communications interfaces fitted in rubber and plastic components such as seals, cladding, connections and molded parts so as to be protected from aggressive media.
