PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction support system capable of controlling the risk taken by the provider side of a quotation commodity.

SOLUTION: In this transaction support system 106, the latest price related to the quotation commodity is automatically acquired from an electronic transaction market system 104 (S404). A predicted delay time by customer registered in a predicted delay time DB 215 is successively acquired (S406), and a stored standard time lag is acquired (S410). A time lag allowable value by customer is calculated based on the acquired standard time lag and predicted delay time. The time lag allowable value and the price of the commodity are downloaded to a client 108 (S412), and a timer check part 220 starts its internal timer (S418). The client 108 also starts its internal timer (S416).
