<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the problem that the information transmission interrupts or the delay time increases in transmitting image/sound information from a line having a high transmission rate to a line having a low transmission rate. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission rate from a terminal to a server is compared with that from the server to a client. If the latter is lower than the former, the server controls the number of frames to be sent to the client so as to distribute image/sound information while avoiding interrupting the information transmission or increasing the delay time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
