<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, efficiently, and uniformly form a spot of an easily and visually observable size through the use of a noncontact microarrayer for forming a very small spot. <P>SOLUTION: Through the use of the ink-jet microarrayer for pressurizing a housed liquid sample and jetting the droplet sample of the amount of one droplet from a nozzle, a plurality of the liquid sample droplets containing biomatter is made to adhere to the surface of a water repellent substrate at locations at which all the plurality of droplets join one another.
