<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal apparatus that can remarkably improve the communication performance between a non-contact type IC card and an automatic ticket inspection apparatus when passing through the automatic ticket gate, by using the portable terminal apparatus when mounting the non-contact type IC card used as a ticket to the portable terminal apparatus such as a cellular phone. <P>SOLUTION: When a non-contact type IC card function (the non-contact type IC card) used as the ticket is mounted to the portable terminal apparatus as the cellular phone for passing through the automatic ticket gate by using the portable terminal apparatus, a transmission carrier from the automatic ticket gate is detected before passing. As a result, a cellular phone function is temporarily interrupted (or stopped), and priority is given to the communication between the non-contact IC card function (non-contact IC card) and the automatic ticket apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
