<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable memory cards of different specifications to be used by an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An electric steel camera 2 is provided with a card slot 14, a circuit board 17, a socket part 18, and a sensor 19. A card adapter 3 consists of a camera side connector part 21, a card slot 23 which an SM card 16 is mounted with, a card side connector part 24 electrically connected to a contact point part 16a of the SM card 16, and a projecting part 25. When the card adapter 3 is inserted into the card slot 14 and the connector part 21 is connected to the socket part 18, the sensor 19 identifies the projecting part 25 and identifies mounting condition of the card adapter 3. When the SM card 16 is connected to the card adapter 3, writing to and reading from the card adapter 3 becomes possible by an access circuit provided on the circuit board 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
