<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having an attitude detection function capable of automatically lighting an illumination only when required by a user. <P>SOLUTION: When S1 key is operated (S31, YES), after increment of the value of a mode resister M (S32), it is discriminated whether the value of the mode resister M is '1' or not (S33). In the case of a stop watch mode of M=1, the content of a resistor N<SB>0</SB>is saved in a resistor N<SB>1</SB>(S34), and '1' is set in the resistor N<SB>0</SB>(S35), and when an attitude detection switch is switched to the on-state, a mode for switching the illumination automatically to the on-state is set. On the other hand, when S2 key is operated in a clock mode of M=0 (S38, S39, YES), the value of the resistor N<SB>0</SB>is inverted (S40). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
