<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid sequence containing an unmethylated CpG dinucleotide and capable of controlling immunoreactions, such as Th1-type immunological activation, cytokine production, NT dissolving activity, and B-cell proliferation stimulation. <P>SOLUTION: A nucleic acid comprises a CpG immunostimulant nucleic acid and contains a stabilized oligonucleotide having a sequence containing at least the following formula: 5'N<SB>1</SB>X<SB>2</SB>CGX<SB>3</SB>N<SB>2</SB>3' (C is an anmethylated C; X<SB>2</SB>and X<SB>3</SB>are each a nucleotide, X<SB>2</SB>is adenine, guanine or thymine, and X<SB>3</SB>is cytosine or thymine; and N<SB>1</SB>and N<SB>2</SB>are each a nucleotide, and N<SB>1</SB>+N<SB>2</SB>is a 4 to 26 bases, provided that no N<SB>1</SB>nor N<SB>2</SB>includes a CCGG tetramer and that N<SB>1</SB>starts with TC or TG), wherein the oligonucleotide contains a TCGTC motif or a TCGT motif. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
