<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate a residual discharge capacity of a battery made hardly affected by a load current, a temperature characteristic, a change with the lapse of time, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A divider 167 of this electronic equipment calculates a rate factor Fr based on a battery part output voltage Vo acquired in an A/D converter 163, the load current Vd acquired in an A/D converter 164, and an initial voltage Vini of an electric power source 71 supplied via a factor resistor 166, and a divider 171 calculates a residual time factor based on the rate factor Fr1 calculated this time, the rate factor Fr0 calculated in the last, and the rate factor Rrend corresponding to an end voltage supplied via a factor resistor 173, and supplies it to a control part 65 via an output resistor 174.
