<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric device which tells a person to be measured the changes of biological information such as the amount of basal metabolism, a splanchnic fat unit content, and a body mass index so that he can understand it easily. <P>SOLUTION: A means to input personal data comprising the age of the person to be measured, a means to input the amount of basal metabolism of the person to be measured, and a means to memorize an inputted amount of basal metabolism are provided. A means to compare an updated inputted amount of basal metabolism with an already memorized amount of basal metabolism, and to indicate the result of comparison is provided.
