OPTICAL PART FOR BIDIRECTIONAL OPTICAL COMMUNICATION MODULE, AND BIDIRECTIONAL OPTICAL COMMUNICATION MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive bidirectional optical communication module and its optical part by reducing overlapping components and shortening alignment time.

SOLUTION: The optical part comprises: a cap for which a ball lens is attached to a peak part; a stem to attach the cap; a silicon platform attached to the stem; a cube type multilayer film filter attached to the silicon platform; a light receiving element attached to the silicon platform for receiving the light of a prescribed wavelength reflected by the cube type multilayer film filter; and a light emitting element attached to the silicon platform for transmitting the light of a wavelength different from the prescribed wavelength through the cube type multilayer film filter to the ball lens on a line connecting the ball lens and the cube type multilayer film filter.
