<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrum polarizing measuring device which is capable of measurement with a high precision using an acoustooptical filter by preventing a mutual interference of filtered light and transmitted light, and devising of guiding only specific polarized light and filtered light to a detector. <P>SOLUTION: Filtered lights 8a and 8b emitted from the acoustooptical filter (AOTF) 1 of a spectrum polarizing measuring device 10 whose polarized light axes are perpendicular to each other, and the transmitted light 8c are surrounded with optical absorption cylinders 21a, 21b and 21c with an aspect which optical axes 15a, 15b, and 15c penetrate. The filtered light 8a and 8b and the transmitted light 8c do not become stray light to each other, and so measuring precision of polarizing characteristic in the detectors 14a and 14b improves. The spectrum polarizing measuring device 10 is proper for optical sensors for earth environment remote sensing, space survey and the like when placed on moving objects such as aircrafts, spacecrafts or on the ground. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
