<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for a rotary engine capable of assuring pulsation effect (high intake efficiency). <P>SOLUTION: This intake device comprises two intake ports 34, 36, 35, 41; two operating chambers 31 in which each of first and second intake passages 49, 50, 53, 54 are connected to each of the intake ports 34, 36, 35, 41; junction portions 51, 55 formed by jointing the first intake passages 49, 53 of each of the operating chambers 31, 31 to the second intake passages 50, 54 on the upstream side; a communication passage 57 for communicating the intake passages of the front and rear operating chambers 31, 31 and a communication control means 58 which cuts off and open the communication passage 57 according to the running condition of the engine between the junction portions 51, 55 and a junction portion 21 of the intake passages of the front and rear operating chambers 31, 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
