<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a welding process out of assembling processes for assembling an offset parking brake operating device. <P>SOLUTION: A lever body 30 of the offset parking brake operating device is parted into a first member 50 and a second member 52, when manufactured, and the first member 50 is welded to a supporting shaft 12. Then, a sector 14 and the second member 52 are fitted to a portion of the supporting shaft 12 extending short from the first member 50, in sequence in a relatively rotatable manner, and the first member 50 and the second member 52 are fastened to each other with a rivet 54 to form the integrated lever body 30. The portion of the supporting shaft 12 extending long from the first member 50 is rotatably supported by a supporting member, not illustrated, and a cable connection is located between the supporting member of the supporting shaft 12 and the sector 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
