PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which achieves both improvement in emission luminance and durability, and to provide a display device of long life which uses the element for high emission luminance. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element contains at least a kind of compound represented by a general formula (wherein, R1-R4are hydrogen atom or substituent, m and n are integers 2-20, L1and L2are mere bivalent linking group of bond.
