VEHICLE LOCATION DETECTION SYSTEM, ONBOARD DEVICE, COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND VEHICLE POSITION DETECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle detection system by which a user can detect a vehicle location from a position where the user cannot view the vehicle. SOLUTION: The onboard device 101 is provided with: a vehicle location detection means 102 for detecting the location of the vehicle; a parking decision means 103 for determining whether the vehicle parked or not; a parking floor detecting means 104 for detecting a parking floor of a sky parking garage; a map data storage means 105 for storing map data; and a parking information storage means 106 for storing parking information including the parking position of the vehicle and map data. Parking information on the vehicle is requested by a parking information request means 152. Parking information and map data are received from the on-vehicle device 101 and parking information and map data are displayed by a display means 155 of communication equipment 151.
