PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converging means for an approximate solution that obtains a high-precision approximate solution required for a risk or safety design by sandwiching with a upper bound approximate value and a lower bound approximate value. SOLUTION: The real solution of displacement of the load middle point of a cantilever plane plate exists between the upper bound approximate value 71 and the lower bound approximate value and converges between the upper bound approximate value 71 and the lower bound approximate value which converge in accordance with the increase of total degree of freedom. The upper bound approximate value 71 is obtained by computation with a numerical number analyzing device (an upper bound approximate value obtaining means) on the basis of a prescribed stress function. The lower bound approximate value 72 is obtained by computation on the basis of a displacement function introduced from an equation based on a new energy principle.
