PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a non-existing state of air within a medium (water) circulating system of a gas-gas heater (GGH) system by a comparatively easy constitution. SOLUTION: By providing an air reservoir part 19 and a valve 20 for discharging the stored air at a bent part of a rising pipe of a heat medium pipe 13 at an outlet/inlet of the vertical type GGH, inertia force is applied when air bubbles accompanied in the heat medium rising in the rising pipe passes the bent part, the air bubbles are easy to stay in the air reservoir part 19 provided on an upper part of the bent part and the air bubbles can be easily discharged to the outside of the system from the valve 20 for discharging air on occasion. As a result, even if small quantity of air exists in the medium at an initial time of the operation of the GGH system, the air is stored in the air reservoir part 19 during a circulating operation, a vacuuming work at the time of filling water can be eliminated since the stored air can be discharged to the outside of the system by opening/closing the valve 20, and also a vacuum pump becomes unnecessary.
